Excellent for center-root weeds. It's been amazing at getting the whole weed, root and all, and without sitting or crouching or constantly bending.

Good for edging

Pretty good garden knife/spade tool. Nice to have the dimensions on the side for doing edging around some of my smaller areas in the front and backyard. Also good for potting in 1 to 3 gallon pots. Got a pretty good deal catching tool on sale, but this isn't something I would pay full price for. I feel like most people who do a little gardening already have a knife/spade type tool. Quality is great, though; I will end with that.
